Shavano Park Fire Department

Quick shout out to our very own Shavano Park Fire Department. The Shavano Park Fire/EMS is a full-time fire department. Luckily for us they are here to protect the Shavano Park residents lives and property from fire and other events they may occur. To date the Shavano Park Fire Department has 17 full-time firefighters/EMT’s under the direction of Fire Chief Darrell Dover. All employed are certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection at the Basic Structural Firefighter level or higher, and by the Texas Department of State Health Services at the EMT-Basic level or higher. The City of Shavano Park Fire Department provides basic life support/mobile intensive care unit level treatment with transport local hospitals for the sick or injured.
