Shavano Park Receives Tree City Growth Award!

Congratulations to The City of Shavano Park! Once again the great men and women of our city have put in the hard work to help grow the city. Shavano Park has recently been awarded with great honor the Tree City USA Growth Award. This Award is only award is handed out by the Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with Texas A&M Forest Service to recognize higher levels of tree care by participating Tree City USA communities. This Growth Award highlights innovative programs and projects as well as increased commitment of resources for urban forestry.

Now for some fun facts:

• The City of Shavano Park is 1 out of 7 Texas cities to be recognized with the Tree City USA Growth Award in 2020.
