Update on Shavano Park Town Plan

Introduced back in late October the City Council approved the 2018 Town Plan after over a year of work by the Planning & Zoning Commission, City Council, residents and City staff. Shavno Park plans to set forth basic issues and action steps stating the city’s collective vision for the future while providing a platform for our City’s long-term growth and development for years to come. Shavano Parks put together an outline for the community concerning the major opportunities and challenges of Shavano Park, including: sidewalks and bike lanes; the City’s residential and commercial development; addressing flooding and drainage problems; the Municipal Tract; and improving the safety and drivability of NW Military Highway.
